Greetings fresher! We warmly welcome you to Alter Ego, below you can find a list of our fresher events this fall.

Kerhoillat joka tiistai klo 18-22 | Club nights every Tuesday at 6PM to 10PM
Kaikki syyskuun kerhoillat ovat fuksikertsejä. Autamme uusia kävijöitä löytämään peliseuraa ja tutustumaan Alter Egon toimintaan.

All club nights in September will be fresher club nights. We’ll help you find company for playing different games, and introduce you to our activities and events.

23.-24.9. Fuksi-PPP | Fresher PPP
PPP eli Peliä, Partyä ja Purtavaa on koko viikonlopun pelitapahtuma, jossa on mahdollisuus päästä kokeilemaan myös pidempiä pelejä. Tarjolla pelivinkkejä ja -seuraa erilaisiin peleihin.

The PPP (acronym from Finnish for games, party and snacks) is a weekend-long event offering a great chance to try out longer games. We will be happy to recommend different games and help you find company for playing.

26.9. One-shot kertsi | One-shot club night
Mahdollisuus kokeilla lyhyitä, aloittelijoille suunnattuja pöytäroolipelejä.

A chance to try out short, beginner friendly tabletop RPGs.

3.10. Alter Egon fuksisuunnistus | Alter Ego’s fresher orienteering
Mahdollisuus kokeilla Alter Egon toimintaa monipuolisesti saman kerhoillan aikana!

A chance to get to try out most of the activities at Alter Ego during a Tuesday club night!

8.10. AE/HYSFK Fuksisauna | AE/HYSFK Fresher sauna
Saunailta lautapelailun kera kattosauna Sivistyksellä.

A sauna evening entailing board games at the rooftop sauna Sivistys.

16.10. Zone Helsinki – Fuksilarppi | Fresher LARP
Fukseille suunnattu yhden illan larppiseikkailu. Paranormaaleja anomalioita tulvii Helsingissä, onko tilanne pelastettavissa?

A one-shot LARP-adventure aimed at freshers. The city is being overrun by paranormal anomalies, can it be saved?

Eikä siinä vielä kaikki, marraskuussa tiedossa on toinenkin one-shot kertsi sekä roperyhmäytymistapahtuma, jossa roolipeleistä kiinnostuneet voivat löytää kampanjoita ja pelinjohtamisesta kiinnostuneet vuorostaan pelaajia. Lisää tietoa tuonnempana. Kerhohuoneemme sijaitsee Mechelininkatu 3D:n kellarikerroksessa. Sisään pääset painamalla ulkosummeria jossa lukee “Kissa”. Nähdään kerhohuoneella!

And that’s not all! In November we’ll have another instance of the one-shot club night, as well as a “Find a roleplaying group” -event where people interested in role-playing games can find campaigns, while aspiring game masters can find players. More info to come. Our club room is located at Mechelininkatu 3D’s basement level. You’ll get in by pressing the buzzer marked “Kissa” at the front door. See you at the club room!

Elokuun PPP-viikonloppu pidetään ensi viikolla 26.-27.8.

PPP eli Peliä, Partya ja Purtavaa on tapahtuma jossa pääsee pelaamaan koko viikonlopun, mikä tarjoaa mahdollisuuden pelata myös pidempiä pelejä joita kerhoilloissa ei välttämättä ehdi kokeilla. Ovet ovat molempina päivinä auki klo 13 alkaen koko päivän, ja paikalle voi saapua vapaasti joko yhtenä tai kumpanakin päivänä. Tervetuloa!

Ensi viikolla saunotaan! Alter Ego ry järjestää yhdessä Yama ry:n ja Otakujen kanssa yhteissaunan kattosauna Sivistyksellä, aivan kertsin vieressä. Tervetuloa saunomaan keskiviikkona 9.8. alkaen kello 18 osoitteeseen Leppäsuonkatu 11. Tapahtumassa ei ole osallistumismaksua tai ennakkoilmoittautumista, ja se loppuu kello 2. Ottakaa omat peseytymisvälineet mukaan.

Saunomisen lisäksi, ohella tai sijasta Sivistyksellä voi pelata lautapelejä, videopelejä ja jutella vanhojen ja upouusien kavereiden kanssa. Sauna järjestetään yhdessä (Helsingin) Yliopiston Anime ja Manga ry:n sekä Aallon animejärjestön Otakut kanssa. Pelaaminen on kivaa, ja pelaaminen uusien tuttavuuksien kanssa on vielä kivempaa!

Alter Egolla saunotaan perinteisesti alastomana sekasaunassa, mutta paikan päällä kartoitetaan vielä tarve erillisille saunavuoroille.

9.8: AE, Yama & Otakut joint sauna

Join us next week in sauna’s warmth! Alter Ego ry is organising a joint sauna with Yama ry and Otakut at the rooftop sauna Sivistys, right next door to the club. Welcome to our sauna evening on August 9th, 6 pm onwards at Leppäsuonkatu 11. There is no participation fee or sign up, and the event ends at 2 am. Bring your own towel and toiletries.

In addition to or instead of bathing in the sauna you can play board games or video games and hang around with old or brand new friends at Sivistys. The event is organized jointly with Yliopiston Anime ja Manga ry and Aalto’s anime organization Otakut. Gaming is fun, and gaming with new acquaintances even more so!

Traditionally, bathing in Alter Ego’s sauna evenings happens naked in a mixed sauna, but we will determine the need for separate shifts at the start of the event.

It is time to sign up for Sotahuuto!

Sotahuuto is the largest boffering event in Finland will be held in Muurame this year. 600 participants will face each other in huge battles in forests and fields.
Duration: Friday to Sunday 15.-16.7
Accommodation: tents in the event area.
The event is beginner friendly.

The event costs 40€ but for first timers it is 20€
